AAF-ND Entrants Receive 9 Total Awards at 2021 District 8 Competition
The North Dakota chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF-ND) is proud to announce that our state-level entrants won a total of 9 awards at the District 8 level. This included 3 student awards & 6 professional awards.
District 8 is one of 14 regional districts, and is made up of clubs throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Winners from this round will advance to the national finals.
The winners were:
Student Best of Show – Izak Moleterno (NDSU)
Izak was recognized with the premium award in the D8 student competition for his Nice Alumni Volume 0 entry. Credits for this entry include: Izak Moleterno, Illustrator.
Student Gold Winner – Izak Moleterno (NDSU)
In addition to the Best of Show award that Izak won, he was also recognized with a Student Gold award for his Nice Alumni Volume 0 entry. Credits for this entry include: Izak Moleterno, Illustrator.
Student Silver Winner – Aaron Godard (MSUM)
Aaron received a Student Silver award at the D8 level for his Echopoint – Outlands campaign. Credits for this entry include: Aaron Godard, Graphic Designer.
Gold Winner – Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Guide (FMCVB)
The Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau was recognized with a Gold award at the District 8 competition for their Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Guide entry. Credits for this entry include: Nathaniel Navratil, Design & Illustration, and Forum Communications, Printing.
Gold Winner – NDSU Theatre Season Posters (NDSU Publication Services)
The NDSU Publication Services team was the recipient of a Gold award at the D8 competition for their NDSU Theatre Season Posters submission. Credits for this entry include: Rebekka Devries, Designer, Janelle Kistner, Designer, Beth Hagemeister, Designer, Nathaniel Navratil, Designer, and NDSU Print and Copy Services, Printer.
Silver Winner – Human Rights Film Festival Trailer (The Human Family)
The Human Family received a Silver award at the District level for their Human Rights Film Festival Trailer. Credits for this entry include: Sean Coffman, Creative Director.
Silver Winner – Feather’s Story (Agency MABU)
Agency MABU was recognized with a Silver award at the D8 competition for their Feather’s Story submission. Credits for this entry include: Ed Sargeant, Animation & Video Services Director, Wind Spirit Spotted Bear, Multimedia Developer, Alex Mabin, Executive VP, Mike Mabin, President/CEO, Derek Milner, Creative Services Director, LaRae Monroe, Multimedia Manager, Steph Landwehr, Media Services Director, Feather Spotted Bear, Actress/Talent/Narrator, Jennifer Young Bear, Jingle Dress Dancer, and Joel Wood, Musician. This work was completed for the National Congress of American Indians.
Silver Winner – Evertide (Threefold)
Threefold took home a Silver award at the District 8 competition for their Evertide entry. Credits for this entry include: Threefold, All Creative, Production, & Post Production. This work was completed for Evertide.
Silver Winner – Residence Life and Dining Brochure (NDSU Publication Services)
NDSU Publication Services received another award (a Silver award) for their Residence Life and Dining Brochure entry. Credits for this entry go to: Nathaniel Navratil, Designer, Justin Eiler, Photographer, Linsey Davis, Project Manager, and Forum Communications Printing, Printer.
